On Day 5 of Social Web Week CT, we get together with fellow marketers from all over CT - to give ourselves a dose of our own medicine. Can we brand CT as a haven for marketers and a different kind of marketing? If so, what's that brand? How do we make it happen?
Expect a bit of reality TV as we're filming the event and showing off, as what else, a social web video!- Cast of characters: CT advertising, PR, social media agencies, professionals, CMO's, gurus, experts, beginners, innocent bystanders - anyone who has a stake in marketing as an industry in CT.
- Plot: Can we brand CT as a destination for progressive marketing and marketers - where the latest and greatest tools are used, but always with a singular focus on delivering client results? Subplot: What is our current brand, fellow marketers of CT?
- Preview: Yes we can! In fact, here's an idea that's already in full-swing. The Left to Right Movement, a weekly reality show for, with, and by marketers. Born and bred in New Haven, and follow-able via Twitter hashtag #L2R, the Left to Right Movement refers to the ultimate goal of marketing: to move audiences from awareness and interest, to trial and acquisition, to retention and lifetime value, all the way to advocacy.
